My Daughter's Keeper, Inc.
In a perfect world teenage girls are soaking up an education, cheerleading and shopping for the perfect prom dress. But the world is not perfect...

Not everyone enjoys these innocent childhood experiences. Far too many pre-teen and teenage girls face challenges that may overwhelm them. Without a good role model, without loving support, without guidance from someone who puts them first, they struggle - and may not make it.

The next time you take your daughter to the mall to buy lip gloss, or sit down to review an essay, or when you volunteer to carpool, think about how special those shared activities are. Consider for a moment the girl who is not able to take being loved for granted. Perhaps she is a high school drop-out, or homeless or pregnant. Those are somber thoughts.

Meet My Daughter's Keeper, Inc. This nonprofit educational and self-development organization founded in 2002 provides support and resources to mothers/caregivers and their daughters to help strengthen their relationships as well as identify solutions to problems such as peer pressure, substance abuse, teen pregnancy and homelessness.

My Daughter's Keeper educates, encourages and empowers mothers and caregivers to accept responsibility for raising their daughters. By doing so, their daughters will become equipped with the morals and values that will empower them and prepare them to pursue their hopes and dreams.
